Concert SZN is back in full swing! In 2022, Malaysians rocked out to a plethora of live concerts and shows by their favourite local and international artists. Thankfully, 2023 is going to be no different as huge acts such as Coldplay and Joji are confirmed to show up on our shores, with more still to come. Even if they aren’t, we got you covered with exciting concerts around Southeast Asia here.

Ahead, here are the confirmed live concerts happening in Malaysia in 2023.

That’s right, Ed Sheeran is returning to Malaysia since his last show in 2019 and he’s bringing his record-breaking Mathematics Tour to our shores! Performing hits across his best-selling albums Divide, Multiply, Subtract, Plus, and Equal, the Eyes Closed singer will have one ‘perfect’ night for Malaysian fans with a thrilling setlist. We know his concert is not until 2024 but the presale is happening real soon and we want to make sure you have the chance to cop tickets. Fan of Japanese rock? You should get your hands on tickets to see One OK Rock live! One of Japan’s most iconic bands, the quartet comprising of Taka, Toru, Ryota and Tomoya is revving to electrify Southeast Asia with their high-octane tunes. This marks the first time in five years that the band is touring in Asia after it was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic. On 23 March, South-Korean singer and rapper Woodz announced on his social media that he will be embarking on a world tour in May much to his fans’ delight! The talented artist, who is known for his songwriting and composing prowess as well as his captivating performances, was in Bangkok in September 2022 in celebration of his fourth mini album Colourful Trauma and now, audiences can catch him in many more countries in Asia including KL! The OO-LI tour is named after his upcoming fifth mini album which will drop on 26 April. Born as Cho Seungyoun, the 26-year-old K-pop star first debuted in the scene under the group Uniq in 2014 before the group went on an indefinite hiatus in 2015. Since then, Woodz gained international fame after joining a South Korean survival reality show where audiences vote to create an idol boy group in 2019. He finished fifth out of the lineup of 11 idols.

If you didn’t get a chance to catch the pair live in August last year at the Axiata Arena, here’s your second chance! If you did see them live, there’s still every reason to snag those tickets as the American pop duo is preparing to release a new album, i really really hope so, on 29 September. The first four singles will drop on 7 June, which means more new songs to sing along to with the crowd live. Consisting of Jake Clifford Goss and vocal frontman Paul Klein, LANY is known for its enigmatic and “chill bedroom” sound with hits such as Malibu Nights, ILYSB and I Quit Drinking.
