From high-octane fantasy epics and heart-pumping crime thrillers to the return of fan-favourite shows, here are 13 new films and TV shows to stream in December 2023.


Sweet Home 2 

When and where: 1 December 2023 on Netflix 

Watch if: You want to watch more monster brawls

Starring: Song Kang, Lee Si Young, Lee Jin Uk, Go Min Si 

Picking up immediately where the cliffhanger in season one left audiences, Sweet Home returns with higher stakes and scarier monsters. If you thought season two of Single’s Inferno was hot, you’ve got something sizzling coming your way real soon! The hit South Korean reality dating show returns for its third season, this time with devilish new rules, twists and turns. According to Yoo Ki Hwan, Netflix’s unscripted lead for Korea, “What used to be ‘Paradise’ and ‘Inferno’ will change completely”, he tells Tudum. Another reason to tune in?
