According to writer Lee Seung-Jin, “we live in a generation where we give up on love and dreams. Love and dreams have at some point become a luxury, as we live a heartless reality everyday.” She mentioned that she decided to create the drama with the intention of extending “this luxury to someone for just one hour, twice a week.” She concluded by saying: “I truly hope this drama’s mere existence will allow someone who has had a bad day to feel better.”
