The Year of the Water Rabbit is a year to stay under the radar for those who were born in the Year of the Ox. It is a good idea to take some time off and upgrade yourself or learn some new skills and gain insights. With no prominent auspicious stars in your chart this year, it is easy to have negative thoughts and self-doubts. All this negativity might also lead to impulsive decisions that might cause bodily harm. Do not perform risky activities such as driving or operate heavy machinery if you’re not feeling your best. On the bright side, your wealth luck is favorable this year and those who are making steady income have the possibility of getting a raise.

Being the outgoing Grand Duke, Tigers hope to get over the turbulence and move on this year. However, the road to recovery might not be as rosy as one might expect. With no prominent auspicious stars in your chart this year, 2023 is a year for you to play defense. Spiritually, there’s a tendency to feel drained.

The stress and uncertainties last year had taken a toll on your health—both physical and spiritual. Be cautious of bodily injury or loss caused by forgetfulness. Be mindful of your diet and maintain an active lifestyle. As a counter, consider donating blood or booking an appointment with your dentist for a routine check-up.

Being the ‘Grand Duke’ (Tai Sui) of the year, Rabbits will be at the center of attention. This simply means that a lot of energy will be heading your way, whether you like it or not. Expect changes to happen this year. The Grand Duke of the year should always stay humble, as gossip is bound to follow you when you’re under the spotlight. It is up to you how to channel the energy and make the most of the situation. For those who have been stagnant and looking for a breakthrough, you will feel the urge to move forward this year. With the intelligence and Jade Hall star in your chart, it is also a good year to pick up a new skill or pursue a new academic endeavour.

Help and support may come from an elder male or someone from a prominent position or institution. Your outlook is good in terms of wealth and career. It is a good year to start new things and finally act upon the grand plan you had in mind all this while.

On the flip side, when things are going smoothly, it is easy to get light-headed and act recklessly. It is a good idea to tone things down a little. Your tendency of being misunderstood or rubbing people the wrong way is high.

For Snakes whose livelihood depends on travelling, then 2023 will be a good year for you. The horse star present in your chart indicates movement, which can come in the form of travel, a change of living environment or even a change of career. It is a good year to take matters into your own hands and start something by yourself. Avoid taking uncalculated risks, gambling and making speculative investments. With no prominent inauspicious stars present this year, it is a good idea to embrace change and enjoy the movement to make new connections to widen your horizons.

Horse

  • Born in 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014 (after 4 February)

Things are looking rosy this year for the Horse. With two prominent plum blossom stars in your chart, the Year of the Water Rabbit is one of happiness and celebration. For those who are single, the chances of finding the right candidate are high. For stable couples, this is a good year to think about marriage. Plum blossom stars also mean that you are likely to be given more opportunities and gain popularity in your workplace. To gain help and support, your noble person will likely be a female. Try looking in the direction of a female partner, colleague or subordinate if you need help this year.

Health: 3/5 | Wealth: 4/5 | Relationship: 5/5 | Career: 3/5

Compatible Signs: Tiger, Dog, Goat | Incompatible Signs: Rat

Dos: Expand your social circle. It’s a good year for building your networks.

For those who work in big organisations, you will be given an opportunity to shine. You will also feel a boost in creativity and develop new problem-solving skills, which will translate into good wealth luck. It’s a good year to amass some savings. However, there’s a possibility for Goats to have minor run-ins with the law such as getting a fine for traffic violations due to carelessness. As far as health goes, be mindful of sharp objects this year. Booking an appointment with your dentist to do some scaling or trying to donate some blood might be a good idea.

Health: 2/5 | Wealth: 3/5 | Relationship: 3/5 | Career: 4/5

Compatible Signs: Pig, Rabbit, Horse | Incompatible Signs: Ox

Dos: Start partnerships. Get yourself noticed. Steer clear from sharp objects.

Monkey

  • Born in 1956, 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016 (after 4 February)

After a turbulent last year in 2022, the Monkey’s luck cycle is moving onto an upward trajectory this year. Expect your level of influence and authority to grow and you will find ways to solve problems. This year is a year for execution, so get down and do the dirty work and you will see your plans materialise. Your wealth luck is marginally better than last year. However, be mindful of unforeseen expenditures and handle new partnerships with caution. Steer clear from risky speculative investments and refrain from giving out loans.

With no prominent auspicious stars in your chart this year, you should lay low and avoid unwanted attention. Your chances of being in conflict are high so avoid arguments if you can, both at work and with your other half. Try to express yourself better to avoid rubbing people the wrong way. Spiritually, you will tend to feel trapped and incapable of making change. Do not drive or conduct risky activity if you don’t feel 100 per cent up for it.

In terms of wealth, expect increased spending this year. To counter that, consider buying an income-generating asset such as a property, or you may also consider throwing a party or dinner for your associates to foster better relationships.

Things get better with the combination of the Grand Duke, meaning that beneficial partnerships are likely to form this year. The wealth luck of the Dog ranks at the top among all zodiac animals this year. In terms of career, you are flanked by noble people and they are there to solve your problems and give you support. Overall, 2023 is a good year to charge full steam ahead. It’s a year of growth in popularity and leadership, and a year to overcome challenges and execute your plans.

No major help in terms of wealth luck means that you would have to take matters into your own hands and create new opportunities. Career-wise, Pigs benefit from a combination with the Grand Duke this year and it may also signify potential new partnerships. One bright spot for Pigs this year is the presence of the Sky Kitchen star, where you will have the opportunity to savour delicious foods throughout the year! Just be mindful of that waistline.
