Sweet sisterhood
March is all about celebrating women and what better way to do that than by spotlighting these precious female celebrity friendships? After all, we’re all about women uplifting and supporting other women, and these BFFs exemplify this sisterhood to a T! From sticking through thick and thin to embracing each other’s quirks, here are seven female celebrity friendships we can’t help but to stan.
Jennie and Jung Ho Yeon
This stunning duo first met at a Chanel show at Paris Fashion Week several years back and immediately hit it right off. In an interview with Teen Vogue, Jung revealed that they quickly grew close to Kim due to their close age and similar careers in the entertainment industry. When Jung broke out after the success of Squid Game, the model and actress said that Kim had been there every step of the way.
“She has been fully supportive of my new acting career and I believe that she’s a true angel,” Jung shared. “I can’t really express how grateful I am to her.” The two have been spotted attending galas together and constantly hyping each other up on social media—simply adorable!
Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone
With their witty sense of humour and lovable personality, we have no doubt Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone have a blast every time they’re together. Even their friendship origin story is equally quirky: they both shared a “stalker” known as John the Orchestra Guy. “He would text us both and say things like ‘I’m running late on my way to the soundstage’…He must have worked at a studio or something because he had a lot of people’s numbers,” Stone shared to W Magazine in 2018.
After getting each other’s numbers from a mutual friend, the two began texting and decided to meet after a year. While both worried that they could’ve been talking to John the Orchestra Guy all the time but alas, no catfishing occurred! Most recently, the two were seen together at Oscars 2024, where Lawrence even presented the Best Actress award to her bestie on stage!
Chaeyoung and Somi
These idol besties are going eight years strong and have a long history. The two practically grew up together, with Somi first getting to know Chaeyoung when she was in middle school and training together under JYP Entertainment. She was also part of the survival program, Sixteen, which led to the formation of Twice; however, she was eliminated and ultimately left the company shortly after.
Despite the two going separate ways music-wise, the friendship between them remained strong as ever. Chaeyoung was even the first guest of Somi’s YouTube show in August 2023. In it, the Fast Forward singer revealed how she would cry out of jealousy when Chaeyoung wouldn’t hang out with her and claimed they were so close, they “dated” at one point!
Jennifer Anniston and Courteney Cox
As far as legendary Hollywood friendships go, Jennifer Anniston and Courtney Cox easily tops that list. We love how serendipitous it is that the two actresses first met on the set of Friends and developed a strong bond off camera too!
The decade-long sisterhood between the pair saw Aniston becoming the godmother of Cox’s daughter, and they were also each other’s maids of honours on their special day. But true friends are not only there for the good times but also the bad. Aniston once shared that the two weathered harsh storms together. “All I can say is she’s been there for me through thick and thin.”

In fact, they’re so close that the pair even showed up as the guests for another show, Knowing Brothers, together to talk about their close bond.
In it, Rosé revealed that she was actually nervous to befriend Hyeri because she was a huge fan from her time in Girl’s Day. Fans can find Rosé frequently appearing in Hyeri’s YouTube channel, where they explore cafes and bakeries. The BlackPink star even sent a food truck to the set of Hyeri’s drama as a Christmas Eve surprise—now that’s BFF behaviour!
