3 Must-haves from Givenchy SS17 for a luminous beauty look
Inspired by the nature of ink and how it reveals a luminous variation of shades, Nicolas Degennes wanted to recreate makeup with a lightweight texture similar to that of ink. What transpired is Givenchy's Spring/Summer 2017 makeup collection, named Points D'Encrage. This lineup boasts formulas in deep shades that leave a delicate, sheer finish on application. Here are three must-haves from the range to give you a luminous, naturally radiant beauty look:
Givenchy reinvented its iconic blush by adding a subtle pearl shimmer to create a contouring highlighter, the Highlighter Mémoire de Forme pink gel that comes in a jar resembling an inkwell. Its formula is made of 72% water, and can be used in a multitude of ways to redefine areas of light on your face.
Tip: Apply on the bridge of the nose, apples of the cheeks, outer corners of the eyelids for an illuminated effect. Feel free to apply over your body to accentuate contours accordingly.
Designed for the chic jetset in mind, Givenchy's Prisme Libre Travel is a matte, illuminating powder that comes with a powder puff, decorated with a buckle inspired by the brand's Obsedia line of accessories. Pat a layer of the powder over your face to set your makeup, or even on top of the Highlighter Mémoire de Forme for a natural glow.
The easiest way to enliven your complexion is via your lips, so go for Givenchy's Huile Irrésistible Pour Les Lèvres for tinted finish that's also nourishing. This translucent pink oil's formula is composed of plant oils rich in fatty acids, made to soften and hydrate your lips. Active ingredients in this product also reveals your lip's natural pigments upon contact.
Givenchy SS17 makeup collection is available this May 2017 at Givenchy beauty counters in Parkson KLCC & Pavilion, SOGO, and Sephora outlets.
