For the urban beauty warrior’s wishlist: Collection Libre Synthetic de Chanel

You know a makeup collection is worth checking out if it is inspired by the cacophony of shades and textures from cityscapes. This holiday season (yes, we’re onto November already), Chanel’s latest lineup is a uniquely contemporary experience altogether, brought to life by Chanel’s Global Creative Makeup and Colour Designer Lucia Pica.

The Collection Libre Synthetic de Chanel‘s star product is the Architectonic eyeshadow palette, featuring five matte and satin-finish colours inspired by urban materials, be it glass, metal, or rubber. Its innovative, hybrid texture that is both a powder and cream allow the colour to glide on smoothly and melt on the eyelids richly. Take your pick from applying the lightest shades as a base and the darkest shades on the outer corner of the eyes for a classic look, or blend a few colours together and apply it in a halo on the eyelid for a colour impact. A must-have to complete your eye makeup is Calligraphie de Chanel Hyperblack, a pigmented cream eyeliner in a jar that offers a long-lasting, intense matte black finish that’s humidity-resistant as well—need we say more?

For the lips, Chanel’s Rouge Allure sees bold contrasting additions with intense orange, brick and coral pinks. The final touch to your urban beauty makeup look is a shade from the limited edition nail polish trio: Le Vernis Velvet Pink Rubber is a sweet pink hue in a synthetic matte finish; Le Vernis Longwear Liquid Mirror offers the high-shine imitated from the silvery reflection of building in the rain, while Le Vernis Longwear Hyperrose Glass leaves an ultra-cool effect akin to neon lights and glass.

Collection Libre Synthetic de Chanel is now available at Chanel Fragrance & Beauty Boutiques and Chanel counters at all leading departmental stores.
