An elevated take on the sunken eyeshadow was the focus of some shows, with a deep set peachy pink hue making a statement at Erdem’s show and a vivid blue and bronze at Roksanda, which together with a crimped centre-parting do, exuded a messy yet contemporary finish.
Holding a strong brow game, Christopher Kane took cues from Cara Delevingne with an emphasis on thick and bold eyebrows matched alongside bare eyes and lips. Makeup aside, Kane brought a quirky twist to the hair by adopting baby bangs and replacing hair elastics with colourful plastic cable ties.
With a more daring take on Day 3′s bold eye look, Giles went for full bottom lashes and kohl-rimmed eyes, whereas Thomas Tait took this a notch deeper with thicker and longer bottom lashes, that from far resembled a rougher rendition of Marc Jacobs‘ morning after mascara smudge look.
