Day 8 of Spring/Summer '16 saw bold colour application at Marc Jacobs, while fresh looks continue its reign at other shows

The fresh, natural look made its stand as the look of the season, as Calvin Klein Collection, J. Mendel and Ralph Lauren all adopted it on their runways. Interestingly enough, both Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein went for the morning after look—but in very different ways. Marc Jacobs went for the perennial party-girl makeup, with a pop of turquoise blue and some darkness under the eyes for that look you get after a night out partying. On the other hand, Calvin Klein opted for a barefaced affair, with the models bearing clean, glowing skin.

Elegant tucked-in braids completed the soft, romantic looks at J. Mendel beautifully, while Marc Jacobs displayed a variety of volumnised messy, slept-in dos that goes hand-in-hand with the morning after theme.
