Dior Beauty’s biggest store in Malaysia is now open, Victoria Beckham debuts a clean beauty brand and more

Not much planned this long weekend? Check out Dior’s newly-reopened store in Mid Valley Megamall for an impressive range of decadents scents and fashion accessories, or perhaps Memo Paris’ wanderlusting perfumes at Robinsons Kuala Lumpur. We also covered the latest in celebrity beauty—the highly-anticipated Victoria Beckham Beauty range from the fashion icon (psst, the online store ships to Malaysia!), Selena Gomez’s new hairdo, and Marc Jacobs’ stunning backstage beauty looks earlier this week at NYFW.

In the meantime, don’t forget to power up your H2O levels and antioxidant skincare to protect your skin from the haze. All the beauty headlines below:

The biggest Christian Dior boutique in Malaysia is now open

Brace yourself for the biggest Dior Beauty store in Malaysia—now open for your beauty browsing needs, located at Ground Floor, Mid Valley Megamall. This Christian Dior boutique is the first in the region to combine the brand’s skincare, makeup and fragrance (Maison Christian Dior) ranges all in one space. While you’re at it, glean an olfactive experience with the new Spice Blend fragrance.

Also, don’t forget to check out Dior’s fashion accessories (from silk scarves to the prettiest of trinkets) here as well—the only Dior Beauty store in Malaysia that carries fashion accessories.

French perfume house Memo Paris lands in Malaysia

If you enjoy fragrances that tell a story, drop by the newly-opened Memo Paris counter at Robinsons Kuala Lumpur, Shoppes at Four Seasons Place. Founded in 2007 by globe-trotting couple John and Clara Molloy, Memo Paris offers a luxe range of scents that are original yet evocative—inspired by far-flung destinations and the raw ingredients from each encounter.

Take your pick from four collections that come with intriguing stories, including Marfa, a tuberose-laden confection of orange blossom absolute, tuberose absolute and white musk; French Leather Rose for those who can’t resist a blooming bouquet; and the passionate Kedu—a combination of oil of grapefruit and sesame absolute.

Memo Paris is located at Ground Floor, Robinsons Kuala Lumpur, Shoppes at Four Seasons Place. Prices range from RM925–RM1,045 for EDP 75ml and RM145–RM2,070 for postcards, travel cases, candles and diffusers.

Victoria Beckham Beauty is now live

Couldn’t get enough of Victoria Beckham’s kajal eyeliners from her Estée Lauder collab collection a few years back? You’re in for a treat, because the inspiring entrepreneur and veritable style icon has just launched her namesake beauty label just this morning.

Victoria Beckham Beauty’s first products (all cruelty-free and “clean”, no less) stay true to the British fashion designer’s signature beauty look—Smoky Eye Brick in four different shades, each pressed in a brass compact for maximum product in the sleekest packaging, Lid Lustre eyeshadows for high-shine brilliance on the lids, and Satin Kajal Liner for blendable, smudge-friendly application to mimic Beckham’s own sooty peepers.

“When developing the makeup we said that we wanted to be incredibly inclusive. And that’s exactly what we’ve done…we wanted women to feel special everytime they pull out a compact from their bag. It really is about empowering women through fashion and beauty. It’s important to feel good about yourself because that radiates,” she said in a making-of video on Instagram.

You’d be glad to know that the online store ships internationally (yes, even to our shores) so wallets at the ready.

Lucy Boynton’s statement eyes strike again

Just last week, Lucy Boynton wowed us with her double crimson streaks around her enviable green eyes—a look that we’re not worthy of. But our new favourite makeup muse isn’t slowing down just yet. Makeup artist Jo Baker recently unveiled another BTS video of Boynton’s eye makeup—this time a “primary colour punch up” with hues of primary and pastel colours that bring a summer-ready gelato in mind. Copious amounts of mascara on her sky-high lashes were the finishing touches.

Kim Kardashian West shows off her sleek bob at NYFW

This isn’t the first time that the beauty mogul has pulled off this new chin-grazing ‘do. The mother of three rocked a sporty lob previously—albeit, only for a day before reverting to lengthy extensions—and repeated this look most recently at Serena Williams’ NFYW show for her debut label, S by Serena Williams.

Pat McGrath injects fun back into runway makeup looks at Marc Jacobs

Trust the queen of backstage makeup to come up with a unique look for each model at Marc Jacobs. Just this Wednesday, models at the show walked the runway in different looks tailored to their personality “ranging from a smokey eye, to a bedazzled feature, to a healthy glow.” The inspiration was an interpretation of real life—with individual makeup looks inspired by both the past and present.

Our favourite looks? This sparkling, crystal-studded green eye makeup and a romantic pink eyeshadow look, coupled with a dusting of gold glitter. We stan.

Selena Gomez’s new hairdo is making us want to get curly lobs

If we had to choose a favourite fall-ready hairdo from a celeb right now, it’d be Selena Gomez’s fresh lob in shades of subtle gradient hues inspired by the season. Sporting new curls that frame her face beautifully, Gomez’s new caramel honey highlights look utterly chic on her skintone.
