One of our favourite moments during Paris Fashion Week AW17 was when It-girl and British supermodel Cara Delevingne repped a fresh platinum ‘do in the form of a chin-grazing bob at the Fenty x Puma AW17. But Cara isn’t the first among celebs who opted for the bottle this year. Hair chameleon Katy Perry’s bleached locks that she unveiled earlier in January might seem like a tame shade in comparison to her usual rainbow-hued tresses, but we daresay that the artiste has never looked this fab. Her BFF Allison Williams apparently also went blonde on the same day—her boldest (and chic-est) hair transformation we’ve seen yet. But our favourite celeb who rocked this major hair change has got to be Zoë Kravitz. Known for her black braids, the actress and singer cited Frank Ocean’s new album for going platinum blonde—one of the most talked-about moments throughout her hair evolution.
Just when we thought that nothing could top Cara’s hair makeover, fellow Chanel muse Kristen Stewart flipped the switch and went all out by bleaching her hair and shaving it off, debuting a buzzcut last week at the LA premiere of her film, Personal Shopper. While this drastic transfiguration is for an upcoming film role, we have to admit that even K-Stew can rock a ‘do as such. So for those who are contemplating on going for a lighter shade, we suggest embracing your inner hairdevil and trying out an icy white ‘do because—let’s admit it, blonde is the new pink this season.
