Cannes Film Festival 2022: 12 Head-turning beauty looks that were more memorable than the movies

Any red carpet is an opportunity for celebrities to pull out the big stops, and this year’s attendees at the 75th Annual Cannes Film Festival certainly didn’t disappoint on the beauty front.

Spotted on this year’s red carpet was a mixed array of SS22 runway trends, from wet-look hair to coal-rimmed eyes to ’00s-inspired makeup. A few notable looks we loved included Iris Law’s slick solution to growing out a buzzcut, the rise and rise of the smouldering cat-eye à la Larsen Thompson and Soo Joo Park, as well as the triumphant return of the Bump-It half-pony by way of Anne Hathaway’s head.
