Beauty buzz: Malaysian-grown beauty brand Tanamera opens a pop-up store in Bangsar and more beauty news from this month

Excited to see the best in beauty from this month? You’ve come to the right place—from heartwarming campaigns to the most exciting pop-up launches, here are the biggest beauty headlines for March.

Chanel’s new Perles et Éclats makeup collection is a pearlescent dream

Draw your mind to the classics: The little black dress, the tweed jacket, and the pearl necklace. These are the quintessential belongings of a Chanel girl. The pearl necklace, in particular, is the blueprint—and the latest makeup collection by the luxury house is proof of that.

Inspired by Japanese Akoya pearls, this pearlescent collection gleams in all shades of pink and white (and even deep aubergine, based on a certain Tahitian pearl). Comprised of a four-pan eyeshadow palette, two new shades of the brand’s Stylo Ombre et Contour eyeshadow stick, four Rouge Coco lipsticks and a Rouge Allure lipstick, and two new iridescent shades of Le Vernis nail polish, this collection is a must-have.
