The latest face to join the Ralph Lauren Fragrances family is none other than South Korean professional footballer Son Heung-Min. The athlete’s new role as regional brand ambassador comes in conjunction with the launch of the new Polo 67 Eau de Toilette, a fresh and fruity fragrance made with notes of citrus, vetiver, and sun-drenched bergamot combined with sweet pineapple accord. The fragrance is a homage to the year the company was founded, 1967, and is exclusively crafted by master perfumer Marie Salamagne. It comes bottled in an elegantly crafted rich, dark blue flacon topped with a shiny blue cap with white accents.

“I am honoured to partner with Ralph Lauren Fragrances,” says the athlete. “The message of achieving your dream through hard work and determination is something I deeply connect with, both on and off the football pitch. I hope this collaboration inspires others to design their own dreams with passion and never give up.”

Aesop Women’s Library returns on 14 June 2024

aesop women's library malaysia

Following last year’s success, Aesop is set for the takeover of its TRX and IOI City Mall storefronts for the Women’s Library 2.0. For three days, the shelves of the two signature stores will be cleared to make way for the works of Malaysian women authors. Guided by Malaysia’s reading culture, this year’s Women’s Library draws inspiration from tales of past, present and future, penned by both significant and emerging female literary voices and allies.

Stop by the ephemeral library this weekend and you’ll be able to take home one complimentary book of your choice—no purchase required. As for the titles that are up for grabs? To support local independent publishers and booksellers, Aesop has purchased over 6,000 volumes for the library. There are more than 20 titles from six collaborating local publishing houses— Lit Books, Clarity Publishing, Cite Book Garden, Gerak Budaya Kuala Lumpur, Penwings Publishing, and Buku Fixi—to choose from, each sprawling in genre and spirit, ranging from short stories to novels and poetry.

Plus, the beauty house has partnered with the literary podcast Two Book Nerds Talk as well as Human Edition to shine a spotlight on local projects, open up discussion on this year’s book selection and also invite the authors to talk about their journey into writing throughout the course of three episodes.

The Aesop Women’s Library 2.0 opens at Aesop at The Exchange at TRX and Aesop at IOI City Mall from 14th-16th June  2024. Find the details on the podcast here.
