What is one thing you’d like to tick off your beauty bucket list?

“A spa getaway at any one of the iconic spa hotels. I love the idea of a weekend (or week-long) getaway somewhere I can fully unwind and properly relax. I’m quite minimal day to day, so indulging in an experience like that in a dreamy setting is definitely something I’d love to tick off my beauty bucket list.”

What are your five must-have makeup essentials?

“The first of my five essentials is definitely a lip oil, and the Kosas Wet Lip Oil is so good. Specifically, I love the shade Unbuttoned—I’m not sure what it is about this shade, but it looks so good on me!

“Next is a good blush, and Ellemkay’s Baby Blush is my go-to. It’s long-lasting with the most gorgeous finish and so many beautiful shade options.

“The Hourglass Unlocked Instant Extensions Mascara lengthens my lashes without clumping, stays put all day, and it’s a tubing mascara, so it’s super easy to remove. That’s why I always have it on me.

“For concealer, I use the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer—it’s ideal for brightening and correcting without feeling heavy on your skin.

“Finally, a brow gel completes the look, and the Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Brow Gel is easy to use, doesn’t flake, and holds all day.

“My bonus essentials are the Hourglass brushes—they’re so good! There’s no streaking, they’re easy to clean, and the quality of the brush is so good, it really lasts.”

How do you take care of your skin after a long day?

“Cleansing is the most important step for me. If I’m layering incredible skincare on a dirty canvas, it’s not going to do any good. I always make sure to double-cleanse and follow up with products that support my skin barrier and treat any concerns. Some of my current skincare faves include the following…

“The Omorovicza Cleansing Foam is gentle but effective, leaving my skin feeling clean without stripping it! The Caudalie Vinopure Salicylic Spot Solution is my go-to for breakouts or congestion, and the Vinoperfect Brightening Dark Spot Serum has helped to even out my skin tone over time. The Rhode Glazing Milk and Peptide Glazing Fluid is the best combo—hydrating, soothing, and gives my skin a healthy glow. Finally, the Dr. Jart+ Ceramidin Lip Balm is a must for this cold weather! It doesn’t have the cutest packaging, but it feels good and looks good on my lips!”

What are your best beauty tips for cold, dry weather?

“One thing I’ve learned from living in the UK is that cold weather calls for layering hydration! I usually start with serums and layer on thicker moisturisers over top. At the end of the day, I’ll use a face mask to prep my skin overnight.

“In Malaysia, I keep things lighter, using gel moisturisers, minimal actives, and lots of SPF. The humidity helps, but I still love a refreshing mist mid-day to stay hydrated without piling on too much product!”

What’s your favourite thing about London? Where are three places you’d recommend everyone go in the city?

“I always say I love my slow days here, which is funny because London is known for being so busy and fast-paced. Trust me—the city that still makes space for quiet moments.

“I love the parks here. Regent’s Park is my favourite because it’s so peaceful and beautiful. Primrose Hill is also stunning, especially for the view. For me, the perfect day involves having some lunch on a bench or picnicking on the grass.

“Another must is café-hopping around the city! This might sound vague, but I encourage you to explore—London has so many amazing spots to work from or just chill at. Endless choices!

“Of course, I also have to mention Covent Garden. There’s so much to do in such a compact area—shopping, theatre, restaurants, cafés, even little workshops and classes—and I absolutely love it here. You’ll never run out of things to do!”
