Dover Street Market London relocates to Burberry’s historic Haymarket home

Following Dover Street Market’s closure of its six-storey space in Mayfair, Rei Kawakubo’s fashion retail and concept store has relocated to Burberry’s historic home that was formerly occupied by the brand for almost 100 years—18-22 Haymarket, London.

The store celebrate its opening on March 19 with the public, and an exciting piece of news beholds: Burberry will be curating a selection of 20 original Burberry weatherproofs, including the brand’s iconic trench coats that will be restored exclusively for Dover Street Market. This marks the first time that Burberry products will be sold at the multi-brand concept store. This range will be available for purchase and displayed in a custom-built installation within the store that is inspired by Burberry’s heritage of protection against the elements, featuring mirrored puddles and paper clouds. Alongside that, a limited number of restored trench coats will be reimagined for Dover Street Market by Kawakubo herself later this year.
