Awards season kicks in with the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards in full swing last night at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. As television’s best put their best foot forward to receive glowing accolades, they didn’t forget to turn it up a notch with glitzy looks that brought much-needed glamour to the red carpet. Frothy tulle and chiffon were favourites of the night, with Millie Bobby Brown in Calvin Klein By Appointment, Kiernan Shipka in Miu Miu, and Yara Shahidi in Prada. A dose of drama was delivered by way of layered feathers—Priyanka Chopra in Balmain and Zoë Kravitz in Dior Couture; metallic embellishments—Sarah Paulson in Carolina Herrera and Jessica Lange in Gucci; and jewel tones—Reese Witherspoon in Stella McCartney and Shailene Woodley in Ralph Lauren Collection.
