11 Feb - Maria Stuarda, Metropolitan Opera House (at Lincoln Center)

The history of English royalty is so rich and interesting that it can be turned into a classical Opera. Oh wait, it has. Gaetano Donizetti's Maria Stuarda will show at the Met, helmed by Italian conductor Riccardo Frizza, starring Sondra Radvanovsky as Mary Queen of Scots, and Elza van den Heenver as Elizabeth I.

13 Feb - The Sweetheart Soiree, Norwood

13 Feb - Tinder LIVE! With Lane Moore, Union Hall

Love takes a lighter mood with this comedy show, where comedian Lane Moore will take the stage to navigate her way through Tinder, showing off her profile, swiping left and right, messaging interesting men, and even calling them live. Moore's posse Mara Wilson, Selena Coppock, Akilah Hughes and Amy O'Leary will join her on stage to evaluate their profiles.

14 Feb - The Rejection Show, Littlefield

Comedian Jon Friedman had just been dumped and passed over for a job at Comedy Central. So it's not surprising he'd focus on heartbreaks and sorrow with comedic pride. With a team of other comedian Friedman turns failure into laughs, and shares rejected moments and stories from his life.

14 - 15 Feb - Maxwell + Nas, Barclay's Center

For the first time in five years, R&B legend Maxwell returns to the stage with two stadium gigs. Another '90s superstar joins him on the stage, the pioneering hip-hop icons Nas of Illmatic fame.

15 - 16 Feb - Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show

Man's best friends take centre stage at the 140th annual dog show, which will bring together over 3,000 dogs that represent hundreds of breeds and varieties. Dogs will be judged across seven divisions (hound, toy, nonsporting, herding, sporting, working and terrier), so there's bound to be a lot happening over the two-day event.

18 Feb - Best Coast + Wavves + Cherry Glazerr, Terminal 5

Indie music lovers can rejoice, as three surf rock outfits will converge at this big-room gig. The dreamy Best Coast will reunite with punk rockers Wavves for their Summer is Forever II tour, while dreamy Cali group Cherry Glazerr will open the set.
