Watches and Wonders 2024: Chopard unveils elegant timepieces for the refined woman

For those seeking glamour, elegance and technological prowess in their timepieces, Chopard is an obvious, standout choice. With decades of history, the Swiss watch and jewellery house has consistently embodied the essence of luxury, infusing innovation and the use of the finest materials in its every creation. Ahead, we explore Chopard’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of watchmaking in this year’s Watches and Wonders 2024 releases.

The first thing you’ll notice about this magnificent timepiece is the delicate dial, showcasing a stunning three-dimensional marquetry masterpiece set against a lush enamel teal background. Seamlessly blending the Maison’s craftsmanship with horological know-how, the collection pays homage to the grandeur of imperial history. Made with 18-carat white gold, the 36mm timepiece boasts a diamond-set bezel, crown, and lug covers. Its heart beats with the Chopard 96.17-C movement, offering a remarkable 65-hour power reserve.

Happy Sport

With its renowned dancing diamonds, the Happy Sport model has been a symbol of elegance for three decades. This month, the collection welcomes an unbeatable addition: the blue 33mm edition adorned with dancing aquamarines and diamonds. The baby blue Roman numerals on the silver-toned dial create a striking contrast. Crafted from Lucent Steel, the case exudes durability and style, complemented by matching baby blue leather straps. Its feminine power is undeniable.

L’heure Du Diamant Octagonal

This exquisite 32mm timepiece is tailored for elegance on a petite wrist. A groundbreaking addition to Chopard’s L’Heure du Diamant collection, it showcases an octagonal case with a malachite dial, delicately contrasted with 18-carat white gold and 27 jewels. Driven by the mechanical hand-wound Calibre 10.001-C—one of the smallest and thinnest movements available—it offers a power reserve of approximately 42 hours. This jewellery-like piece perfectly embodies the harmonious blend of watchmaking mastery and stunning design aesthetics.

L.U.C XPS Forest Green

Introduced as the latest addition to the L.U.C collection, this timepiece will appeal to women desiring a more masculine aesthetic, housed in a well-proportioned 40-mm Lucent Steel case. The satin-brushed dark green dial, achieved through PVD treatment, features timeless Chopard design elements, as seen in the case, lugs, and signature rhodium-plated Dauphine hands. Boasting advanced watchmaking prowess—courtesy of the L.U.C Calibre 96.12-L—this timepiece effortlessly blends contemporary flair with vintage charm.
