The Watches and Jewellery That Stole the Show at the 2025 Bafta Film Awards
Gold stars

The road to the Oscars is long and windy—the latest stop to the big event saw more than a few curveballs thrown our way. At the 78th British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs), which unfolded at the Royal Festival Hall, new contenders emerged. The biggest takeaways from the ceremony include the crowning of a new Best Picture frontrunner with the Vatican-set political thriller Conclave besting The Brutalist and Emilia Pérez. A Real Pain triumphing over Anora in Best Original Screenplay was another highlight. In acting categories, Mikey Madison made headlines after putting an end to Demi Moore’s foretold sweep in Best Actress.
Earlier that night, Madison made a winning appearance on the red carpet in a drop-dead-gorgeous archival diamond necklace by Tiffany & Co. The actress paired the pièce de résistance with a diamond ring and earrings from the brand’s high jewellery collection. Fellow winner Zoe Saldana also left a major impression as she donned the Embrace necklace from De Beers’ Essence of Nature high jewellery collection. The green of the rough diamonds complemented the black sheer lace gown she had on and the gold BAFTA mask in her hands. Saldana completed her look with DB Classic diamond studs and Classic Eternity bands.
The men did not disappoint. The five Supporting Actor nominees, in particular, raised the bar with their wrist game. Guy Pearce and Yura Borisov, for instance, turned more than a few heads with the stunning Omega timepieces on them. While the former went with a Speedmaster ’57 in stainless steel with a blue leather strap, the latter opted for a Seamaster Aqua Terra in stainless steel with a black leather strap. Orlando Bloom was another cinema staple who stole the spotlight at the BAFTAs. Having just been appointed ambassador by Porsche Design, the actor sported the brand’s titanium Porsche Design Chronograph 1 automatic watch to the show.
