Tiffany & Co.’s precious new blooms will set your heart aflutter

It takes a fresh perspective to make the familiar feel new, and that is what Tiffany & Co.’s new chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff has achieved in his first collection for the Maison. Inspired by the idea of flowers cut from paper, the Tiffany Paper Flowers collection strikes an artful balance between refined femininity and industrial modernity. The simple, organic motif of a flower is constructed through an architectural lens—each petal is individually crafted then pinned together to form a graphic yet delicate bloom.

“Paper Flowers is about stripping away all of the rules associated with fine jewelry,” says Krakoff. “Luxury shouldn’t always mean formality, so we used precious stones and the finest materials, but in a way that you can live with every day.”

What transpires is an all-platinum collection of jewellery that highlights Tiffany & Co.’s exquisite craftsmanship with a sense of ease; a modern, refined take on everyday luxury. At the same time, it pays tribute to the brand’s rich history—several Paper Flowers creations feature Tiffany’s legacy gemstone tanzanite, while yellow diamonds on the firefly motif reflect the House’s design heritage.  Pieces are also elevated by way of diamond pavé embellishments.

It’s almost impossible to pick a favourite from all the beautiful pieces, but the stunning statement ring with a firefly nestled on the flowers (as shown above) has our heart. See more of the collection as well as campaign images starring Elle Fanning here:
