Romain Jerome takes on great responsibility with the RJ x Spider-Man timepiece

We all know that quote from one of Marvel’s most well-loved superhero comics: “With great power comes great responsibility”. Not one to shy away from great responsibility, Swiss watchmaker RJ-Romain Jerome has taken on a collaboration with Marvel (a first for the media empire) to create a timepiece dedicated to the agile superhero, Spider-Man—a fitting collaboration, as Romain Jerome is no stranger to pop culture references after all.  

The 75-piece limited edition RJ x Spider-Man timepiece features the brand’s Skylab case, with the superhero’s iconic logo taking centre stage on the dial against the handwound RJ004-M skeletonised movement. On the flip side, you’ll see the Spider-Man web metallised on the sapphire crystal glass caseback. 

The black PVD-coated steel case is accompanied by a matching rubber strap, complementing the bold statement aesthetic of the timepiece. That’s Romain Jerome for you, experts at pleasing watch collectors and pop culture aficionados alike.
