Longines makes a splash with its latest additions to the HydroConquest collection

Introduced back in 2007, the HydroConquest marked Longines’ solid foray into the world of dive watches, keeping true to the traditional aesthetic and requirements of the sport without forgoing the brand’s innate sense of elegance. The emblematic sports line saw an expansion recently with new models fitted with a ceramic bezel insert, rendering it more resistant and functional.

First unveiled in Baselworld last year, the reimagined variations feature ceramic bezels that match the colour of the dials, giving the sporty silhouette a contemporary update. As with the rest of the collection, the timepieces sport a unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown and case back, and water-resistance to 300 metres. The new models are available in three colours—grey, black and blue—and two sizes, with the option to be paired with a stainless steel bracelet or matching rubber strap.

The photos probably don’t do them justice, but the sunray dials catch the light in all the right ways—particularly in the blue and grey versions. Longines Ambassador of Elegance Aaron Kwok is pictured here wearing the three hands and calendar model in blue, which comes in 41mm and 43mm sizes. A chronograph model is also available in 41mm.

Here, Kwok shares his through on the new HydroConquest models: “As a watch lover, I really appreciate the bezel’s ceramic insert. These watches have a sporty silhouette and an elegant style, making them suitable for daily wear and appropriate for all occasions.”

The new Longines HydroConquest collection is now available in stores.
