Bell & Ross Vintage GT: Style of the ‘70s racing drivers

Designed with a look that is both retro and urban at once, the new BR GT watches from Bell & Ross’ Vintage collection are evocative of an era that inspires modern men in search of authenticity. A contemporary interpretation of the chronographs worn by racing drivers in the ’70s, the two Vintage BR GT models feature graphic dial designs that hint at the rev counters and dashboard instruments found in cars of the era, showcasing a resolutely neo-retro look with a timeless allure.

Channelling the spirit of ’70s racing driver watches, the BR GT timepieces flaunt a pitch black dial housed in a 42mm case crafted with satin-finished steel. This contrast is augmented by the facetted, photo-luminescent metallic hands and appliqué indices, providing an understated, bold visual. Keeping in line with racing driver watches of the ’70s, the watches are paired with a black, micro-perforated strap made with Alcantara, bearing an exquisite suede-like touch not unlike the car upholstery of the era. They are also available in satin-finished steel bracelet options, for the man who finds comfort in an all-steel watch.

Powered by two Swiss self-winding mechanical movements, renowned for their reliability and endurance, the Vintage BR GT watches are water-resistant to 100 metres. The elegant bezel of the chronograph vision indicates a tachymeter scale, prioritising the measurement of short time periods and enabling performance and speed to be read immediately. Suave and sophisticated, these immaculate timepieces are designed to accompany you from day to night, at black ties or with jeans at the weekend, and of course, behind the wheel of fine cars.
