The pretty stellar watches inspired by the Supernova
The Astral Rose
Supernova refers to the phenomenon of stars exploding in the vastness of space. It starts by shining its brightest before combusting in an enormous cloud of dust. While only two or three supernovae occur each century, the phenomenon can last several hours each time and the shock waves are big enough to encompass an entire galaxy.
Bell & Ross S Novarosa takes inspiration from the striking pink halo of the Supernova. This feminine colour is synonymous with seduction and romance, it is also a colour of ingenuity, sensitivity, candour and purity. The timepieces also draws on the expression "la vie en rose" that means life through rose-tinted spectacles, to evoke living with happiness and pleasure.
The three models under the BR S Novarosa are crafted with the BR S case—the smallest of the square watches, and with a polished and satin-brushed finish. These steel timepieces feature a quartz movement and water resistance up to 100 metres. On the diamond versions, the bezel is set with 66 sparkling round diamonds, with a total weight of 0.99 carat.
Just like the shimmering streaks formed by the supernovae, all the dials have a pink sunray decoration and a sunray brushed finish to evoke the beams of the sun. The watches sans diamonds have indexes in baton-shaped metal appliques. Meanwhile, the two versions with diamonds feature 12 indexes formed by round diamonds set in faceted chatons for a trendy touch.
For the first time, Bell & Ross introduces a Milanese mesh strap pairing in the Novarosa collection. The strap is made using a refined technique of interwoven steel strands. It is flexible and adapts to every wrist shape and size. You can also change it up with pink alligator or grey calfskin straps.
Bell & Ross S Novarosa collection is priced from RM9,200 to RM29,900.
