Bulgari’s ambassadors visit Nepal for Save The Children campaign

Earlier this year in April when the Nepal earthquake occurred, Bulgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin donated half a million Euros in response to the emergency situation, supporting international children’s rights non-governmental organisation Save the Children to ramp up its response while helping out the most vulnerable children afflicted by the disaster. Throughout the past six years, Bulgari has pledged over €30 million as a fervent supporter of the organisation’s work around the world.


Recently, Bulgari’s global ambassadors Adrien Brody, Isabella Ferrari, Jon Kortajarena, and HSH Princess Lilly Wittgenstein made a trip to Nepal to witness the results of the activities funded by Bulgari that have benefited over 28,000 children in the country through its partnership with Save the Children. Bringing inspiration and hope to children directly impacted by the earthquake in Kavre and Sindupalchowk districts, the ambassadors spoke to the children and teachers while learning about how Bulgari and Save the Children helped during the crisis and the building process of a recovery pathway in the regions, especially through the support of Save the Children’s education programming.

Under the Bulgari-Save the Children campaign, €75 is donated to Save the Children for every purchase of a silver and ceramic pendant and ring (€450) bearing the Save the Children logo, inspired by the B.zero1 line of jewellery. This campaign has allowed projects to be created in 25 countries across five continents, involving more than 700,000 children, 87,000 teachers and 2,000 schools. These projects are focussed on access to education for the most vulnerable children in areas where natural disasters, wars or conflict, marginalisation, disability or poverty can hinder or entirely destroy the right to education and a better future.
