10 Celebrities Who Put the ‘Gold’ in Golden Globes 2025
Memo received
Drama, drama, drama! There was no shortage of it at the 82nd Annual Golden Globe Awards. With non-stop curveballs thrown throughout the evening—Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres upsetting Hollywood royalties Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman! Critics’ favourite Anora getting goose-egged! The Wild Robot losing Best Animated Feature to Latvian underdog Flow!—the award season scorecard is now a game of shifting odds.
But the shocks and surprises came way before the envelopes were ripped open. Upon arrival, a number of celebrities took it upon themselves to supply the theatrics. Red carpet royalty Zendaya made a stunning showing in a drop-dead-gorgeous Bvlgari diamond necklace featuring a 31-carat Paraiba tourmaline. Nicole Kidman, on the other hand, brought a touch of elegance to the carpet with Boucheron’s Lierre de Paris pendant earrings and Vendôme Liseré ring.
Anya Taylor-Joy and Mikey Madison both gave the carpet its jaw-dropping moments with pièces de résistance by Tiffany & Co. Cementing their status as cinema’s next generation leading stars, they selected gems from the cosmic-themed Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste collection. While the former opted for the Star Burst Crystal Opal necklace in 18K gold and platinum, the latter went with the Wings diamond earrings in 18K gold and platinum.
The men did not disappoint. Andrew Garfield came in swinging with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Monoface on his wrist. The David Yurman necklace complemented its 18K pink gold case and black sunray-brushed dial. Another name that made a head-turning appearance was Colman Domingo, who effortlessly bridged masculinity and femininity with the Omega Constellation and Boucheron jewellery pairing.
Luxury watches had their fair share of airtime during the live telecast. One of the timepieces that stole the spotlight was the Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Shades that accompanied Kieran Culkin as he claimed the trophy for Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for his mercurial performance in A Real Pain. Meanwhile, Shogun’s Hiroyuki Sanada accepted the hardware for Best Television Male Actor – Drama Series with the IWC Portugieser Automatic 42.
