Introducing the latest additions to Glashütte Original’s Pavonina collection

Presenting seven new enchanting models, German watchmaker Glashütte Original enriches its Pavonina collection for the modern woman. With adaptations that augment its ornamental brilliance and fine details including a newly designed dial and advanced movement, the new models exude an aura of elegance. To reflect the broad diversity of women, the collection offers its dials in a variety of colours and materials ranging from lustrous mother-of-pearl to galvanic black cabochon with diamond studded indexes and lugs. 

Glashütte Original also maintains its inaugural edition of the 1920s “cushion” shaped case in the Pavonina collection, which was adapted to suit the contemporary woman, featuring the patented incorporation of flexible lugs to ensure a snug fit. The brand offers the case in three versions of stainless steel, 18-carat red gold and a contemporary bicolour combination of both.

Manufactured in Pforzheim, Germany, the dial comprises not only of a guilloche-finished circular centre but also applied Arabic numerals that are available in colours ranging from rhodium to red gold, and further enhanced by cabochon and finely-cut diamonds at 3, 6, 9 and 12 o’clock. The collection’s reverence for sophisticated detail and femininity is evident through its wide selection of straps (the delicate cream calfskin leather and midnight blue in Roma-satin are exceptionally beautiful) and bracelets in a stainless steel, red gold and bicolour version. 

Amongst the feminine timepieces, those crafted in stainless steel feature blue mother-of-pearl or galvanised light silver dials, whereas the bicolour models feature a shimmering white mother-of-pearl dial. Alongside this, the collection offers two models in a radiant 18-carat red gold; the first comprising of a polished case framing a white mother-of-pearl dial, a guilloche finishing at its centre, diamond encrusted indexes, lugs and a brilliant-cut diamond upon its red gold crown. The second timepiece features a galvanized black dial accompanied by a red gold fold-over clasp and black alligator leather strap. 

Aside from the alluring visual features, Pavonina models house the brand’s own development—the Calibre 03-02 quartz movement, balancing its aesthetics with its precision and user-friendly comfort. With three times the standard magnetic protection and thereby shielding the sensitive mechanism from the influence of modern mobile electronic devices, the unique movement enhances the quality of the watches, making each timepiece a more than suitable companion for the contemporary woman. In addition to the gold logo engraving that ornaments its silver plate, the polished case back provides ample space for wearers to embed their personalised engravings and precious dedications.
