5 New movie trailers to get you excited about date nights in 2017

Trust the studio big wigs to get us all hyped up over the new movies that will be coming to the big screen. We’re not too far away from 2017 and already it seems like it will be an entertaining one. Forget about making resolutions; let’s plan movie dates with the boyfriend, girlfriends and family instead. Here are some newly released trailers to help your planning along.

The Lego Batman Movie

We got a sneak preview a few months ago from Comic Con, now here is the latest official trailer. With big changes going on in Gotham, Batman has a lot to do in battling the Joker. For one, he can’t go at it alone as a vigilante if he were to defeat the him.

Gifted

Chris Evans plays the role of an uncle who is fighting his mum for custody of his niece. She’s a young math prodigy who wants to live with him. It’s a sentimental story that also stars Chris’s real-life girlfriend Jenny Slate, who acts as the teacher.

Release date: 12th April 2017

Life

This is a debate that has been making the rounds and now, it’s going to be the plot of ‘Life‘. A six-member crew has discovered the first evidence of alien lifeforms on Mars but as they conduct more research into this, it proves to come with some consequences.

Release date: 26th May 2017

Wonder Woman

Here’s the backstory to this DC Comics character – an Amazonian princess leaves her all-female island after learning about the ongoing events of a world war from an American pilot, who was washed ashore. Despite what critics may say, Gal Gadot is slaying it in this trailer.

Release date: 2nd June 2017

Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets

This Luc Besson film stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne who are two special operatives working to maintain order throughout the universe. However, during a mission to an intergalactic city, they discovered the future of mankind is in jeopardy from sinister forces.

Release date: 21st July 2017
