1. Snap photos with the Christmas Tree of Wonders

When: From 1 December 2023 | Showtimes – 5.30pm, 7.00pm, 8.30pm

Where: Next to Gourmet Park

As the internet says, “pictures or it didn’t happen”, right? Well, there will be plenty of opportunities for you and your travel companions to snap photographs of and with each other all around the resort with Christmas lights setting the stage. Look out for the Superstar Archway Structures at main entrances and linkways, cute Bunnyverse characters dressed as snow bunnies and elves, and, not to mention, the pièce de resistance—a towering 10-metre Christmas Tree of Wonders. The installation promises to dazzle visitors with a show titled “Superstar Spectacular”, offering a visual journey of a shooting star through a Christmas galaxy.

2. Sing along to a lineup of star-studded performances

When: 16 December 2023 to 3 January 2024

Where: Resorts World Ballroom

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Superstar Christmas without the superstars who will be making their way to Resorts World Sentosa this holiday season. Headlining the acts is Jessica Jung (formerly of Girls’ Generation, also known as SNSD), a Korean-American singer-songwriter with over 12 million followers on Instagram. She will be taking over the stage to perform her best hits on 16 December. Award-winning Mandopop hit singer William So will also be coming to Singapore for a one-night only public concert on 23 December. Moreover, Australia’s all-male dance revue Thunder from Down Under will be turning up the heat with their heart-thumping performance.

3. Enjoy a Universal Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore

When: 2 December 2023 to 1 January 2024

Where: Universal Studios Singapore

Price: S$98 per adult | S$71 per child | Tickets include a S$5 retail voucher

Universal Studios Singapore returns with A Universal Christmas celebration for the whole family, boasting a stellar lineup of all-new live shows, festive encounters with popular characters, and snowfall. This year, visitors can look forward to Illumination’s Minions and DreamWorks’ Trolls spreading the holiday cheer around the park—complete with festive soundtracks and meet-and-greets.

Meanwhile, the New York-themed zone will be home to Santa’s North Pole Headquarters, where guests can experience Santa’s new flying vehicles—the Jolly Jet Pack. Plus, the Penguins of Madagascar, Po and Master Tigress will also be making appearances. Other highlights include a night-time performance called the W.I.S.H show and Santa’s Present Party, which will be making special larger-than-life deliveries to beloved characters throughout the park.

A Universal Christmas is included with regular admission to Universal Studios Singapore during the festive period. Adult packages come with a Christmas Combo Meal that includes a Christmas-themed main dish and a drink that can be redeemed at selected restaurants.

4. Embark on a magical marine odyssey at S.E.A. Aquarium

When: 25 November 2023 to 7 January 2024

Price: Ocean Wonderland Package – S$55 for adults | S$45 for children (includes an admission ticket to S.E.A. Aquarium and VibranSEA, a reusable glow-up cup with a choice of soft drink, a $5 retail voucher and an Ocean Series Ice Cream)

If you’re a fan of all things related to marine life, head on over to S.E.A. Aquarium for a special Christmas OddySEA. Organised in collaboration with neurodiverse multidisciplinary collective Superhero Me, Christmas OddySEA is an art exhibition featuring five Singaporean artists and their young collaborators, including students from Rainbow Centre—a social service organisation in Singapore that empowers people with special needs with skills to thrive. Together, they reimagine a ‘Christmas home’ for some of the marine animals within the aquarium by decorating the habitats’ exteriors.

In addition to the OddySEA experience, visitors can pump up their energy (and work up an appetite for festive feasts) with an energetic Minmed Cycle Pop-Up ride in front of the picturesque Open Ocean Habitat on selected days. Alternatively, catch the crowd-favourite Candlelight Concerts performing Studio Ghibli music by Joe Hisaishi for one night only on 29 December.
