This is where your journey begins. As an Enrich member, you won’t just earn when flying with Malaysia Airlines. Enrich opens you up to a world of opportunities—literally and figuratively—as you continue to rack up miles with its OneWorld partner airlines, including American Airlines, Japan Airlines, and British Airways. The extensive network of airlines covers over 900 destinations all over the globe, which will be at your fingertips when booking and flying with Enrich. We flew on both Malaysia Airlines and Firefly for our flight legs from Kuala Lumpur to Penang and onward to Langkawi. Members can opt to use the Enrich Saver option, which allows you to pay for your ticket with points or purchase your ticket to earn points.
While travelling with Enrich, you’ll be earning miles with every trip you take, and make your way up the membership tiers. As you climb the ranks, the benefits will only get bigger from gaining access to over 620 airline lounges to getting extra baggage allowance on flights. Before take-off, we ventured to the Domestic Golden Lounge for some breakfast, coffee, and downtime. As an Enrich Gold and Platinum member, you too can access the Golden Lounges without having to fly on business class. Alternatively, you can redeem points to gain entry for some comfort and sustenance prior to flying.
FEEL AT HOME WITH ENRICH HOTELS
Once you’ve got your destination and flights on lock, it’s time to book your hotel. Boasting over 400,000 properties worldwide, the Enrich Hotels roster is filled with options for every taste, budget, group size, and more. Its user-friendly portal is easy to navigate, allowing for a less and intuitive booking experience. In Penang, we checked into G Hotel along the bustling Gurney Drive, booked through the Enrich Hotels portal. During the Langkawi leg of our trip, we called the picturesque ParkRoyal Langkawi Resort home, yet another one of the properties available on Enrich Hotels.
If you’re a first-time user, you’ll get an automatic 20 per cent off your hotel bookings and earn up to 15,000 per night on subsequent stays. You’ll be earning points with every stay and when you’ve got enough points to splurge, you can book full stays just with your points to save a buck or two. Not to mention, for every 8,000 Enrich points earned with your stays, you’ll get one Elite point, counting towards your steps to a higher membership tier!
THE WORLD IN YOUR WALLET
The newly-launched EnrichMoney is your one-card, multi-currency e-wallet solution to spending on holiday (or even at home). With your EnrichMoney card and app, gone are the days of bulky wallets filled with multiple currencies and ringing up your bank to allow for foreign transactions. You’ll be able to transfer and top up money into your account in up to 20 currencies, so all you’ll need is one card for a range of destinations. Plus, there are zero transaction fees when you spend at all Visa merchants worldwide.
We used our EnrichMoney card throughout the trip, swiping and tapping it at restaurants and souvenir shops. Most notably, we visited Kapten Batik, an Enrich partner brand, where Enrich members also get to enjoy an exclusive 10 per cent discount. Other benefit options include earning EnrichMoney points with every purchase or using your points to pay for your chosen items. As you rack up more EnrichMoney points, you can eventually exchange them for cashback!

A leisurely boat ride through the Langkawi mangroves, a Hanbok experience in Seoul, or even a one-day trip to marvel at cherry blossoms by Mt. You’ll be rewarded with Enrich points simply for booking your excursions and activities during your vacation!
On our getaway to Penang, we got close to nature at The Habitat on Penang Hill, an experience booked through the Enrich Xperience website. We came nose-to-nose with wildlife and the lush greenery of Penang Hill while taking in the fresh air and scenic views atop the canopy walk. Over in Langkawi, we explored the interactive Dream Forest experience and immersed ourselves in the mangroves with a Tanjong Rhu Mangrove Tour boat ride. Both adventures are also available on Enrich Xperience, so you can also be rewarded for booking and experiencing these attractions.
