Where to catch the award-winning short film ‘A Useless Fiction’ this Sunday

This Sunday (17 December), KL Experimental Film, Video & Music Festival (KLEX) is set to feature Cheong Kin Man’s short film A Useless Fiction as part of its video screening series ExScreen 017. The screening will take place at RAW Art Space in KL, where the director himself will be present his work and engage in a Q&A session. Released in 2015, A Useless Fiction was the winner of the International Experimental Film category at Columbia Gorge International Film Festival, and it also received the 2015 Rising Star Award at Canada International Film Festival.

 

Besides Cheong’s short film, you’ll also be able to catch No’I by Belgium filmmaker Aline Magrez at the screening. ExScreen 017 will start at 8pm, and admission is by suggested donation of RM10. For more information, check out the event poster below:
