In this edition of the BURO Weekend Guide, we’ve rounded up a mix of happenings to keep you out and about—from couples kickstarting their wedding journey, to contemplative art exhibitions, and pastry pop-ups worth detouring for. All that’s left is to rally the group chat and start making plans. Here are eight must-know events around KL & PJ this 25 to 26 April 2026!

When: From now until 10 May 2026 (closed on Monday) | 11am to 7pm
Where: The Objects Store @ REXKL

For a slower, more introspective outing, pay a visit to David Reid’s ‘Garden Life’ exhibition at The Objects Store. Drawing from cultivated landscapes as a way of thinking, the works are shaped by the artist’s time across Shanghai, Taipei, and Kuala Lumpur, expressed through layered compositions in Chinese ink and acrylic on silk and Xuan paper. At its core, the series explores the idea of the “Chinese window”, where framing becomes a quiet dialogue between Eastern and Western perspectives.
