#SherlockLive: Care to test your detective prowess?

Have you ever thought of being in Sherlock Holmes’ shoes? Well, tonight is the time to channel your inner high-functioning sociopath, as show writers Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss are giving Sherlock fans a chance to solve a new case on Twitter. This comes after Sherlock‘s second episode of season four aired last night.

Moffat and Gatiss will be dropping clues on the BBC One Twitter account on 10 January at 8pm GMT (4am Malaysian time) tonight, interacting with and challenging fans to solve a mystery with the hashtag #SherlockLive. The 30-minute event will unravel here, if you’d like to keep track of it.

Speaking of Sherlock, the show has been compared (not so favourably) to another British icon—James Bond. Responding to the comparison, Gatiss had this to say: “There’s no need to invoke in yarns that still thrill, Her Majesty’s Secret Servant with license to kill. From Rathbone through Brett to Cumberbatch dandy, with his fists Mr Holmes has always been handy.”

Season four of Sherlock will conclude on 15 January with ‘The Final Problem’ on BBC One.
