The Ritz-Carlton is taking their hospitality service and timeless style to the sea with their upcoming foray into the cruise market. According to the award-winning luxury hotel brand, they’ll be the first in their industry to offer bespoke yacht experiences and distinguishes Marriott International as the only provider of luxury accommodations both on land and at sea. Here’s everything you need to know about The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection:
– There will be three lavish custom-built cruising yachts in the series
– Each vessel will feature 149 suites (each with its own private balcony) and will be able to accommodate up to 298 passengers
– It will also have two lavish duplex penthouse suites
– Other features on the yacht include: a restaurant by Sven Elverfeld of Aqua, the three Michelin-starred restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg; a signature Ritz-Carlton Spa; and a Panorama Lounge and wine bar, offering a wide variety of on-board entertainment
– Voyages will range from seven to ten days
– Itineraries are still being developed but potential destinations for the cruise include the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean and Latin America with stops at unique locations that large cruise ships would otherwise be unable to dock at such as Capri and Portofino to St. Barths and the old town of Cartagena
– The first yacht of the series is scheduled to set sail in late 2019 with reservations to open in May 2018
– The boats are also available for private charter
