#MalaysiaBoleh! As expected by many, we’ve won a gold medal in the men’s chinlone linking competition—a first for Malaysia since the sport’s debut in the 2013 SEA Games in Myanmar.
The national chinlone team beat Philippines 391-271 during the final at the Titiwangsa Indoor Stadium today.
Chinlone, a traditonal, national sport of Myanmar is similar to sepak takraw except it requires six players to take turns juggling the ball in a circle.
The competition was also participated by Brunei who walked away with the bronze medal.
