Here are the most Shazamed songs of 2016

A song plays on the radio and you are loving the fresh, groovy beats, but the title and its singer alludes you—what do you do? You whip out your phone and Shazam it, but of course.

 

While Drake was the most Shazamed artist overall, this year’s most searched track is Sia’s ‘Cheap Thrills’. Being Shazamed the most doesn’t necessarily make it the most popular track, but it does mean that people wanted to find out about it, and that can be a good thing.
