‘La La Land’ dances its way to the top of Golden Globe 2017 nominations
Who are the nominees?
The nominations are in. As the ceremony that gets the ball rolling for awards season and an often astute forecast for the Oscars, announcement of the nominees for the Golden Globes are possibly the best early Christmas gifts some of the contenders could receive this year.
This is especially true for the cast and crew of the musical La La Land who leads the pack with seven nods under their belt—both leads, Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling secured a mention each. Close behind, drama Moonlight was not lacking love from the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with six nominations bestowed—including best drama, director and screenplay.
Hosted by the infectiously charming Tonight Show host, Jimmy Fallon, the 74th Golden Globe Awards will take place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel and to be broadcasted live on 8 January 2017.
