7 Things you can do in KL this weekend: 27 & 28 April 2019

1. Take the ‘Brain Freeze’ Challenge at Gastro Sentral @ Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur, April – June 2019

Anyone who’s up for a food challenge and loves ice cold desserts (what with the unbearable heat these days!) might find an interest in Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur’s ‘Brain Freeze’ Challenge—finishing 3.5kg of the ultimate ABC (ais batu campur). The bowl comprises of mountain-high ice shavings topped with jelly, doused with evaporated milk, syrup, ice cream, grass jelly and so much more. If you can finish it within 30 minutes, it’s free. Otherwise, pay RM88 nett (and you have to take the challenge alone). Alternatively, you can order the giant bowl of ABC for RM100 nett to share.

For more info, call Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur at 03 2263 7434 or email [email protected]

2. The Nespresso Discover a Milky World Campaign at Nespresso Boutique (The Gardens Mall) and Nespresso Pop-Up Store (1 Utama Shopping Centre), beginning 22 April 2019

How do you usually like your coffee? Three quarters of coffee drinkers globally enjoy it white and if you’re one of them, Nespresso has purposefully studied and experimented a variety of coffee that would go perfectly with milk, roasting techniques and how to best utilise Nespresso milk machines to go with it.

A six-year journey, it resulted in the new Barista Creations milk coffee range that’s specifically designed for coffee recipes with milk (and even plant-based milk alternatives). Barista Creations is available in Original capsule system and is inspired by baristas around the world to create your favourite milk recipe, with the Nespresso milk machines, of course.

Discover more at the Nespresso Boutique or Nespresso Pop-Up Store.
