Start the spooky season with Nights of Fright! The annual scare-fest is back for its ninth edition with eight haunted houses, one haunted theatre, two scare zones, 11 thrill rides, and two show stages that are bound to frighten you. Be sure to be alert while you’re walking through the attractions as you might be attacked by zombified animals that live oddly as humans roam the lagoon, be taunted by doctors who believe the bubonic plague has returned or sit in for a scary bit that takes you through the mystical world of Bomoh—although we think you shouldn’t trust any of the chants you hear.

Short + Sweet Malaysia is one of the longest-running multi-genre festivals, and is set to premiere more than 90 new works in six different genres—Film, Stand-Up Comedy, Song, Musical, Theatre, and Dance by a wide range of Malaysian artistes and arts groups. The festival kicks off with the film genre where the works of 11 local filmmakers will be premiered. Not only will you be the first to watch these short films, but you can also vote for the film you liked most!
