6. LEARN THE TECHNIQUES OF DRYPOINT PRINTMAKING

Drypoint printmaking is an intaglio technique that creates sharp lines with fuzzy, velvety edges. The process begins by manually etching designs onto a metal printing plate and unlike other forms of printmaking, this technique does not require any chemicals. Learn the method with Chetak 17, a local art studio and collective that aims to preserve the ways of traditional printmaking.
