The award-winning production is the brainchild of Bulareyaung Pagarlava, who stumbled upon the Bunun during his travels. Mesmerised by the indigenous tribe, he headed back to the mountains with his dancers to learn the ancient Bunun chants (recognised as a Cultural Heritage in Taiwan), their culture, and how to survive in the mountains.
With blessings from the Bunun elders, the Bulareyaung Dance Company gives you a glimpse of their culture through dance, allowing you to reconnect with nature and tradition.
