3. From M to M: Works by Liew Kwai Fei at The Zhongshan Building, 7 & 8 December 2019
This weekend, take the opportunity to explore an exhibition of 20 acrylics on Indian handmade paper at The Back Room—all by Liew Kwai Fei. This is a result of his two-month residency in Mumbai back in 2010. Elements to expect include ambiguous and sensual forms, negative and positive spaces, exotic shapes, folklore and culture motifs, and vivid colored compositions. The exhibition runs until 22 December 2019 and admission is free.

4. Try the Siti Li x BLVD House pop-up menu at BLVD House, 9am – 11pm, 7 & 8 December 2019
Head over to the city centre this weekend to feast on a special collaboration between two homegrown brands—Siti Li and BLVD House. The month-long menu (22 November – 22 December) consists of the former’s classic Malay recipes and the latter’s bestsellers. Did you know that BLVD House was featured in Crazy Rich Asians? Well, now it’s your time to experience the luxe life in this kitchen take-over by Shareen Ramli and Siti Kader. What should you try?
