Dolce & Gabbana and Smeg have made the coolest fridges

Dolce & Gabbana is known to design some of the most gorgeous fashion pieces on and off the runway. Smeg is known for their high-quality home appliances that combine technology and style. Put them together and you get a series of limited edition FAB 28 refrigerators that is a work of art and carries the “Made in Italy” excellence—oh, and a hefty price tag.

There is only 100 of them in the world and each Dolce & Gabbana x Smeg fridge is different from the other and is priced at €30,000 (approximately RM132, 880)! But considering the name the brands have made for themselves and how every single one of them has been handpainted by local Sicilian artists, which took 240 hours per fridge, it might not come as a surprise.

The design of the fridges has the unique styling of Dolce & Gabbana all over them, featuring images of lemons, the trinacria symbol, cart wheels, medieval knights and battle scenes as well as embellished with classic floral motifs—everything that covers the aspects of the aesthetic of Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
