Dior gives you a very good reason to visit Paris this year

The highly anticipated fashion retrospective by the House of Dior, titled ‘Christian Dior, Couturier du Rêve’ (Designer of Dreams) at the Musée des Arts décoratifs has finally opened its doors earlier this month. Held in conjunction with Dior’s 70th anniversary, the exhibition showcases the stunning legacy of the couture house, spanning 70 years of masterpieces and creations by Christian Dior as well as the designers who succeeded the creative helm.

 

Taking centre stage in one of the galleries is the Bar suit, positioned in front of a replica of the legendary façade of 30 Avenue Montaigne. There is also a dedicated section to the iconic Miss Dior and other fragrances under the house – Christian Dior did fancy himself a perfumer as much as a designer after all.
