Welcome to the festive season! While the air is filled with joy and cheer, our calendars are filled with gatherings and plans. Whether you’re in for some last minute gift shopping, festive feasting, or holiday pop-up fun, the KL & PJ area is delivering with a boat load of Christmas 2024 events for you to check out. Take on some pickleball at Jameson’s ‘Jingle in the Court’, plan a jolly day out for your furkids, or just grab your wallets for some festive shopping—the choice is yours! Here are all the seasonal happenings on our radar that you should know about.
JAMESON’S ‘JINGLE IN THE COURT’
When: 14 December 2024
Where: Pickle Social Club, KLGCC
Price: Registration required
Jameson is getting in the Christmas spirit with its ‘Jingle in the Court’ takeover at Pickle Social Club. The agenda for the day is jam-packed with activities for you to keep occupied and maybe break a sweat with. Headlining the day is the Jameson Mixed Doubles Pickleball Tournament, starting at 2pm. Grand prize winners will win big with a set of HdPc pickleball paddles, two personalised Jameson jerseys, a cap and visor, two tote bags, two tees, and two bottles of Jameson.
Also happening at the event is the debut of the HdPc x Jameson collection with jerseys, visors, caps, and more. To keep the energy going, there will be a lineup of local talents, including DJ duo Roshan and Lzzy, Adriel, Crinkle Cut, and Claudia Tan. For bites, Noa restaurant on the grounds will be serving a special menu to pair with Jameson cocktails and Jameson-infused scoops from Shimmy Gelato.

PINGMIN CHRISTMAS MARKET

One of the city’s largest pop-up markets is turning up the festive cheer for the season with the Pingmin Christmas Market. Happening every weekend leading up to Christmas day itself, the market features some of the most prominent local brands as well as tons of activities to really get you in the spirit. From daily “snowflake sessions” to tons of photo ops, this pet-friendly event really has it all you need for a jolly day out.

‘BAKE GALA’ BY CUUURATE AT THE STARHILL

Bring some cheer in the form of baked goods to your December days with the return of Bake Gala. Featuring over 20 of the area’s most beloved bakers, this pop-up is what pastry dreams are made of. Some of our favourites include Contour PJ, Hani Coffee, and The Bread Bar. The Uncanny Valley Studios will also be dropping its first-ever Christmas collection titled “Festive Curiosity” made up of a range of whimsical dessert plates.

‘CYBER 24 CHRISTMAS’ BY DELIC’S

With over 58 vendors on its roster, ‘Cyber 24 Christmas’ is ready to bring you all the jingles and cheer you need for the season. Spearheaded by the team behind Taman Paramount’s Delic’s, this pop-up market will take care of all your last-minute Christmas shopping. Headlining participants include Delic’s themselves, HDPC, Against Lab, and Udou. Meanwhile, those looking to make some impulsive decisions can pay one of the several tattoo artists—including Shimmy Pokes and Hasaki Ink Studio—there a visit.

LEX PATIO PANTRY’S ‘CHRISTMAS ON THE PATIO’

Bangsar’s favourite hangout is hosting its ‘Christmas on the Patio’ complete with sandwiches and refreshments. Quan’s Dog Treats will be on-site for all your pupper gifting needs, including its season specials such as Christmas Gingerbread Chookies. On the other hand, Ohana Mantra will also be making an appearance with its unique handcrafted crystal bracelets, which are also perfect for gifting.

Emulating a classic Christmas market, Suria KLCC’s festive pop-up for the season is ready to be the backdrop of your celebrations. The setup is dotted with stalls, each with their own designated activity for you to take part in. Plus, you can get your holiday photo sessions in by the 100-foot Christmas tree at the Esplanade KLCC or the horse carriage, where Santa will visit on Saturdays and Christmas Day itself.

The festive celebrations at If Only KL are lasting all month long with its ‘Art of :– Giving’ series, hosted in collaboration with local craft artist Han. The campaign entails exclusive gifting collections, workshops, and an art exhibition. The art display features pieces by Han and the If Only team, including hand-painted glassware and floral arrangements.
