1. UnCommon Cuppings at Common Man Coffee Roasters KL, 3pm – 4pm, 6 July

Want to learn more about specialty coffee? Common Man Coffee Roasters host free coffee cuppings every first Friday of the month to showcase their new origins. This month, they’ve received some beautiful coffee from Communal Shamba Coffee, in Tanzania.

4. Introduction to Gemmology with Lucy Walker at Lucy Walker Jewellery @ Bangsar, 10am – 5pm, 7 July

Learn more about the world of gemstones — especially the big four (diamond, ruby, sapphire and emerald) — through a series of lectures, demonstrations, exercises and more. You’ll even be able to try out the tools used by professionals.

5. Dojo KL X MissMafia Presents: Real Talk at Dojo KL, 10am – 4pm, 7 July

Spend the afternoon immersed in open discussions with like-minded women — the women who hustle hard on growing their ideas, business, brands and themselves. There’ll also be yoga and mat pilates session (in collaboration with Liberty Active and GuavaPass) as well as a small retail space to shop for products by homegrown brands.

6. High Tea for Two at Dome Cafe

Dome Cafe is reviving the tradition of High Tea with two tantalising options, depending on what is your cup of tea. For something a bit more classic, the English tea set comprises of tuna and cucumber sandwiches, hot scones with strawberry jam and cream, vegetarian bruschetta and more. For something a bit more local, the Malaysian set offers samosas, sambal puffs and other fresh baked pastries. Both come complete with either a Long Black or English Breakfast Tea for two.
