3. FAME Festival 2017 at Publika, 11am – 9pm, 4 – 5 March
The acronyms stand for Food and Arts of the Middle East and the two-day event aims to highlight the talent and heritage of displaced refugees from Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Palestine currently living in Malaysia. Expect the true taste of Middle East cuisine (or learn how to make them yourself at the cooking workshops), beautiful crafts by the skilled and creative refugee artisans and a moving theatre performance. At the end of the day, all the fundraising efforts and donations will be given to the refugee community partners and their families.

4. It’s the Black Market Weekend (Round 2) at Slate@The Row, Kuala Lumpur, 12pm – 7pm, 4 – 5 March
The peeps in the local fashion and creative industry are trying to clear their space so you’ll get a chance to purchase these rare pieces, samples, past season looks, pre-love items, vintage goods and so much more – at a price you won’t be able to resist.

6. Purchase your tickets early for the 9th MyBalloon Fiesta 2017, 10 – 12 March
If you want to catch a ride on a hot air balloon, you’ll have to get your tickets fast. #MyBalloonFiesta is back and this time, it has moved closer to KL at Desa ParkCity with an apt theme – “Balloon in the Park”. There will be 18 balloons from eleven countries in all unique shapes and sizes on display, food vendors, live performances, a Night Glow Show and more.
