3. Pooches in the Park 2018 at Central Park Avenue @ Bandar Utama, 10am – 6pm, 22 July

KL Pooch Resort and Rescue’s annual fundraiser is back and they promise it’ll be a splash. The highlight: the Wet ‘n’ Wild park and bouncy castle that’ll definitely get a thumbs up from the kids (yes, including the four-legged ones). You’ll be able to shop for a ton of doggy treats and essentials but best of all, you’ll be supporting over two hundred abandoned animals.

6. Cool down with Haagen-Dazs’ new flavours

All this heat calls for a scoop of ice cream or two so Haagen-Dazs releasing two new fruit flavours is truly timely. White Peach & Raspberry Ice Cream features a blend of Caprice white peaches in their signature creamy ice cream as well as real peach pieces. For something more tangy, Yellow Peach Frozen Yoghurt is a combination of peaches from Greece paired with Haagen-Dazs’ premium yoghurt.

You can have it to-go or enjoy a limited edition menu based on these two flavours at all Haagen-Dazs stores

7. Try the award-winning Gâteau De L’horloge ice cream cake, till 31 October 2018

Let these words paint the picture for you: Velvet vanilla yoghurt ice cream, tangy yuzu and mango sorbet, strawberry coulis, a base of crunchy streusel and topped with extravagant gold leaves. This is the cake that won an award for the Academy of Pastry Arts at the Mondial des Arts Sucres, which is one of the most prestigious international confectionary art competitions. It’s not often a contest piece (and one that won too!) is made to order so take this chance to have a taste of victory.
