The limited edition Jaguar F-Pace roars into Malaysia—with only 20 units available

Known as one of the world’s premier luxury sports saloon and sports car marques, the British automaker—part of Jaguar Land Rover—is bringing the brand’s best-selling SUV into Malaysia. Three variants (Prestige, R-Sport Mid-Spec, and R-Sport Hi-Spec) will be available for the limited edition Jaguar F-Pace. Yes, limited because there will only be 20 units in the country. If you’re a massive fan of one-of-a-kind vehicles, this is one you’d want to check out!

Equipped with a new state-of-the-art two-litre, turbocharged Ingenium petrol engine (Jaguar’s most powerful engine of the type in production), the latest F-Pace has a top speed of 233 kilometres per hour. The vehicle can also achieve the century sprint in 6.1 seconds. For smooth acceleration, the F-Pace comes with the ZF 8HP45 eight-speed automatic transmission.

To reduce turbo lag while improving engine response, Jaguar has paired the F-Pace’s engine’s twin scroll turbocharger with an unified exhaust manifold that synchronises exhaust pulses from two different duos of cylinders.

Designed for everyday use, the F-Pace is the brand’s first aluminium-intensive model in its class—created using the automaker’s Lightweight Aluminium Architecture. Notable features include Configurable and Adaptive Dynamics (Jaguar proprietary leading technologies). There are also systems such as the Gesture tailgate, 10-inch Touch Pro, Pro Services, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitor, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. They are available in all three variants. Yes, all three of them.

Known as the entry-level version, the Prestige variant is equipped with enhanced exterior, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, a 20-inch five split-spoke Style 5031 with Grey Diamond Turned finish alloy wheel, Rear Seat Remote Release Levers, and Power Reclining Rear Seat. As for the R-Sport (Mid-Spec) variant, it has Adaptive LED Headlamps, Signature Daytime Running Lights (DRL), Auto High Beam Assist (AHBA), Ambient Interior Lighting, and Gloss Black Roof Rails.

In addition to 22-inch wheels, exclusive to the R-Sport (Hi-Spec) variant is the Adaptive Surface Response (AdsR)—recognising differences between surfaces to capitalise on existing grip by adapting engine and brake settings.

Available in six colour options (Fuji White, Santorini Black, Eiger Grey, Portofino Blue, Firenze Red, and Indus Silver), the Jaguar F-Pace Prestige (Entry level), R-Sport (Mid- Spec), and R-Sport (Hi-Spec) are priced at RM436,420.82, RM470,212.97, and RM485,433.81 respectively. Even better news is that you can actually roar along while taking the new model out on a test drive. What are your thoughts on the new Jaguar F-Pace in Malaysia?
